Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This policy covers www.hacc.app: this website and its Request a demo form. It explains what we collect, why, where it goes and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
hacc.app is a product of Conexio Software Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08148785). Our registered office is 12 Hamilton Terrace, Leamington Spa, CV32 4LY.
We decide how the details described here are used, which makes us their controller. For any question about this policy or your details, email admin@conexiosoftware.com.
Using the app? This page is about this website only: the hacc.app application itself, and the records a customer keeps in it, are covered by the customer's agreement with Conexio and are not described here.
When you request a demo
The form asks for:
- your name and your business name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give it
- how many shops you have
- anything else you choose to tell us in the message box
We use these details to reply to you, build your demo and show you round it, and follow up with you about hacc.app afterwards. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us to get in touch, and we need your details to do that.
Where your details go
The form does not save your details in a database. It sends them to us as a single email:
- The website's form service, hosted on Microsoft Azure in the Netherlands, checks the request and passes it to Pillarbox, our own email service, hosted on Azure in the UK.
- Pillarbox delivers the email using Amazon Web Services in Ireland. It keeps a copy, and a record of the send that includes your email address and business name, for a limited time so we can check it arrived, then deletes them.
- The email arrives in our Google Workspace mailbox, with your address set as the one a reply goes to. We keep it while we are talking to you about hacc.app, and delete it within two years of our last contact.
- The form service writes your business name in its running log when it handles a request. This site has no log store set up, so we keep no copy of that log ourselves.
Google may store email outside the UK. Where it does, it protects it under its standard data protection terms.
Your demo shop
The demo we build for you is a demo shop on hacc.app holding invented records, and we give you a sign-in to it. That sign-in uses your name and email address, and we may email you its password. The demo shop is kept with the app, on Microsoft Azure. We remove the demo shop and its sign-in when you ask: email sales@conexiosoftware.com.
When you visit the site
- No cookies, analytics or tracking. This site sets no cookies and does not record which pages you look at.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Like any web host, Azure handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- Fonts, pictures and script. These are all served from the site itself, so a visit does not send your IP address to anyone else.
- Stopping misuse. When you send the form, the form service holds your IP address in memory and counts your requests over the last hour, so nobody can send the form hundreds of times. It is not saved, and it is not put in the email. Once an address is more than an hour old it is cleared the next time anyone sends the form, or sooner if the service restarts. The form also has a box that people cannot see: a request with that box filled in is treated as coming from a robot and is not passed on.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the details we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your details
- stop using your details, or limit how we use them
Email admin@conexiosoftware.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
